History
Based
in
Tampa, FL, 5050 design is a graphic and web
design studio. Led by
president/creative director Rob Hudgins, the
firm has built a strong
reputation and client list of the nation's
business, publishing and
high-tech communities. The studio has also
picked up numerous design
awards from various business and publishing
associations.
Rob
started
the firm in early 1999 after a successful tenure
as the
creative director for the magazine group at
Potomac, MD-based Phillips
International, a leading international publisher
that brought in $350
million in sales in 1999. While heading the
production department, Rob
oversaw the creative direction of nine
magazines, redesigned seven
magazines and worked closely with the web
development team as well. In
his eight years at Phillips, Rob won numerous
awards from the company
and from such business publishing associations
as The Association of
Publishing Excellence.
Since
starting
his own firm, Rob has built a client list that
features a mix
of high-tech companies, the nation's top
business magazines and
national associations, including: Cygent,
American Bar Association,
Cisco, TIME Magazine, Forbes, Execunet, The
American Gas Association,
MIT and National Wildlife Federation.

50/50 Design is able to translate
our
specialized messages and technical
jargon, and turn those into
collateral pieces that speak
specifically to our different
audiences.
He can take our bits of
information and know the best way
to convey
challenging concepts in a unique
way through design.
